How many cats is too many?

I'm afraid I might be an animal hoarder. I currently own about 34 cats and 3 of them are about to birth so the number will rise in the next week. Plus, my coworker wants to get rid of her 2 cats and I'm planning to adopt those, as well. These cats are my life, my children, my family. Cats seem to love me more than any human ever has and I just can't seem to get rid of my babies? Am I an animal hoarder or is this typical cat owner behavior?
