Which English monarch is responsible for the most deaths by religious persecution of his/her own countrymen?

If there were a contest it would be a close run thing between Henry VIII and Mary I. Henry VIII introduced boiling people to death in oil and broke from the Catholic Church because he wanted more with Women other than his wife. He was eventually known as Henry the less after a fortuitous accident with a knife. Anyone who would not pledge aliengence to him as opposed to the Pope was murdered. He murdered his Arch Bishop Thomas a Becket. Mary I on the other hand hated Protestants and was called bloody Mary - she was most probably drunk all the time as well and had the well known drink named after her.
