Is there any way to remove a masonry drill bit that's stuck in a concrete floor?Drill motor starts overheating?

Been attempting to lay a subfloor, the drill is stuck and unable to remove it from the concrete, the motor is starting to overheat. so insted of completing the floor, there is now a drill in the centre of the floor. We'd prefer to try and get the drill and the drill bit out in one piece, are there any tips that we could try to remove the drill and the bit form the floor?
