What if I declared myself Emperor of America?

Would you bow down to me? Democracy is a Utopian, but naive idea, as the mes, though having a great propensity for hard work and decency, are ignorant of the complexities of society. The American Democracy, though gloriously wrought with the intention of freedom ( Even though the men who wrought it owned slaves and marked them as 3/5 of a man) has become a servant of bankers and corporations. I am consumed with fear that the mes will soon elect an anti intellectual leader who will stop our elites from studying in college and conducting scientific research, the foundation of a civilised society, the very things that if subjugated to any cause pushes us back into savagery. Make me your monarch and like any true monarch I will love the people as a father or mother loves their children. A true parent goes without so that their children may eat. I will give the mes palaces while I sleep on the dirt in the forest. I will wear rags and give vagrants robes of silk. I will destroy our enemies as only a concerned parent will.
