Why is he the way he is?

So me and this guy have been talkin over 2months now...Thats long enough 2 make ur mind up on how u feel bout some1 right? Yea well we went out and broke up but we still stayed friends and i've been the only girl he has talked 2 and he has been the only guy i've talked 2...So this morning I asked him if he wanted 2 stay friends or b more...He was like friends I "guess" and he asked y I was askin and asked is there some1 else..And they aint no1 else he is it 4 me and I told him I needed 2 kno cuz I cant b hangin round if thats all we r goin 2 b...So he got mad and hung up now he wont answer his phone but he is at work now...How do I make everything right now? I cant stop cryin cuz I cant stand us fightin...
