What do you think of my zombie apocalypse solution?

Thousands of zombies invaded my town. I sedated all the hardened criminals and other undesireables(people nobody would miss) and put them in the center of town. I alerted all the decent people and warned them to get out of town. Then I detonated a nuclear bomb, vaporizing all the zombies, criminals, and rejects. What do you think of my master plan?
