Would YOU'VE found this remark of my uncle's rude or what?

A few months back, one of my uncles came to stay with me mum and dad, and while he was up here, me and me girlfriend went over to me mum and dad's for the day, to see him, (as I ain't seen him since I moved up from London to Lincoln nigh-on four years back now.) Anyway, while I was over at me mum and dad's, me uncle asked me what I got up to with me time nowadays, and I told him, not a lot, to be honest, but that I sometimes go into town and look round the shops in the afternoon. Now, to my shock and disgust, me uncle's reply to this, was: "And why, may I ask, would ya knock about in town that time of day, on a WORK day, unless it was TO LOOK FOR A JOB?!", and then, the cheeky bugger went on to say to me: "Ya know what YOUR bleedin' trouble is?! You sod about too bloody much, and ya do bugger-all with yer bloody life!" Cheeky sod! How many of YOU would've taken that as a snipe? Would YOU'VE found that remark of my uncle's rude?
